CITS welcomes Dr. Vinton Cerf as part of the CITS Distinguished lecture series. Dr. Cerf is widely considered one of the "Fathers of the Internet," for his role in co-designing the TCP/IP protocol and the architecture of the Internet.
Vinton "Vint" Cerf's contributions have been recognized repeatedly, with honorary degrees and awards that include the National Medal of Technology, the Turing Award, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Cerf has worked for Google as its Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist since September 2005. In this talk Dr. Cerf considers the Internet Past and the Internet Future.
