This paper presents initial findings from a study of responses to fake news by platforms, media institutions and fact-checking organisations. Using interviews with people from news organisations, fact-checkers and platform, it explores the interactions and process that have informed the socio-technical responses. This is part of a larger study of the interrelationships between platforms and journalism.
